After the long day of the third show, we crashed pretty hard and got some real sleep. We still spent New Year's Eve day doing a bunch of stuff around the house, dealing with the robbery, but we actually had time to get dinner before the show. The original plan was to go to the Panthers-Canadiens game and then leave after the second period for the show. We didn't end up having time for that and instead went for a pre-game dinner.
Welcome to the new site. I spent most of Thursday night attempting to import the contents of the old Blogger site, which I finally managed to do successfully after downgrading to the previous version of the Wordpress import module. There is no direct import tool, so I had to export the old posts, convert to a Wordpress file and then import. So, everything that was there is now here.
I have not touched the RPM Challenge project for two days now, owing to work on this and some major housecleaning projects. I also mounted our new television to the fake fireplace that comprises one wall of our living room, so now it will no longer block the fake fireplace opening. It looks pretty sharp and will be even better once I hide the cables.
Today I had originally planned to get some demos started. I had a bunch of other stuff to do as well and it all took longer than expected. I did get the computer moved and the mixer wired up and I fetched the mic stands from storage. Tomorrow I have two morning errands to run, a small amount of kitchen cleaning and a Super Bowl party. Around that will be solid work on demos.
I missed the first day owing to the very dull Panthers-Ducks game last night. I might as well have stayed home, but I wasn't feeling great and wouldn't have gotten much done anyway.
1. I don't really collect books, but my tastes are so odd I feel compelled to keep lots of books for fear of never being able to find certain titles again.
